Student council leadership training program – Growing with responsibility and heart
08 October, 2025
“Leadership” – is it only for those at the top?
For Olympians, leadership doesn’t begin with a title — it begins with initiative, empathy, and accountability. Small as they may seem, these qualities empower each student to influence and uplift others in their own way.

Last weekend, that journey took shape through a Leadership and Soft Skills Training Course organized by the Student Projects & Activities Department, bringing together members of the Inter-school Student Council (SGO) and class representatives from Elementary to High School.
Far from being a series of lectures, the program was designed as a hands-on learning experience - a space where students could try being a leader: thinking proactively, acting creatively, and guiding others with sincerity. The goal was not only to help them become voices of their peers, but also inspirers, connectors, and supporters who help others grow alongside them.

Through experiential learning, group discussions, and constructive feedback, Olympians explored the true essence of leadership - not simply to lead, but to listen, understand, collaborate, and make thoughtful decisions. Along the way, they also developed essential skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, organization, and discipline - the very foundation for confident, capable leadership in the years ahead.
Each lesson and challenge in the course acted like a small mirror, reflecting a deeper truth: to lead is to learn - about others, and about oneself.
Parents, let’s continue walking alongside our “Purple School” leaders, the young Olympians who are learning to lead with wisdom, empathy, and heart!
