Glocal Connect – Meeting a Marketing expert with Grade 8 Olympians

As part of the “Entrepreneurial Mindset” project in the Economic & Law Studies subject, Grade 8 Olympians had the opportunity to attend an inspiring expert talk: a seminar on Marketing & Advertising with guest speaker Đoàn Trang - a MarCom Leader and CEO with over 13 years of experience in Marketing and Communications.
 
Going beyond basic concepts and theory, students explored the role of marketing and advertising in modern business, analyzed common marketing approaches, and gained practical insights from an industry expert. Notably, they also received direct feedback and consultation on their group business ideas for their Economic & Law project – effectively bridging classroom learning with real-world application.
 
Following the insightful sharing session, student teams confidently presented their business projects in the fields of F&B, healthcare, and beauty. Each idea demonstrated thoughtful market observation, the ability to identify target customers, and a clear approach to building a business model. Ms. Đoàn Trang praised the students for their creativity and strong entrepreneurial thinking.

The seminar not only expanded students’ knowledge but also ignited the entrepreneurial spirit within each Olympian - empowering today’s ideas to become tomorrow’s real-world value.
