Grade 4 Olympians explore the world of careers with experts

Last week, Grade 4 Olympians enjoyed a “not-so-ordinary” lesson as they stepped into the world of careers with experts from different fields such as pet care, technology and artificial intelligence, and career guidance. The Talkshow & Career Experience was an exciting and meaningful activity in the LiFE program, especially because the students not only listened to real career stories but also met their own parents in the role of… experts!

The talk show atmosphere was lively and full of laughter. Olympians eagerly asked questions that were both adorable and surprisingly “challenging,” such as: Why did you choose this career? How much do you earn each month? Which job is the hardest? Will AI replace humans? These innocent questions were answered by parents and experts in a friendly, easy-to-understand, and humorous way, helping students realize that every career brings its own joys, while also requiring passion, perseverance, and effort.

The lesson became even more engaging when Olympians took part in hands-on career experience stations. Some students were excited to learn how to take care of pets at home, others were amazed by what technology can do, and bursts of laughter filled the room during the career-guessing games through actions. Each activity brought joy and new discoveries, helping Olympians broaden their perspectives and understanding of the world around them.

Through experiences like these, Olympia hopes that each child will nurture their curiosity, begin asking the question “What do I like to do?”, and gradually form pure and beautiful dreams for the future.
