17 October, 2024
Round 2 of the General Knowledge competition has officially come to an exciting conclusion, with the participation of nearly 100 teams, totaling almost 200 Olympians from high school levels.
The questions in this round covered a wide range of topics: literature, mathematics, chemistry, physics, history, geography, and even economics and law. These not only demanded extensive knowledge across various fields but also required sharp thinking and seamless teamwork. Each round brought about a mix of emotions: the joy and surprise of the winning teams and the tension and regret of those eliminated.
Cheers and loud applause from teachers and friends energized the contestants throughout the competition. Especially exciting was the "rescue" segment, where teachers participated in fun physical challenges like delivering the ball to the finish line or ring tossing, giving teams a chance to return to the competition. By the end of Round 2, 50 outstanding teams were selected to move on to Round 3, which will take place in November.
Whether they advanced to the final round or not, Olympia students surely gained valuable and enriching knowledge on their journey of learning. Parents and Olympians, let's look back on the wonderful moments of Round 2 at General Knowledge!
