"O Mai 8 Show" – A sweet and heartfelt farewell for Olympian's Grade 8 students

Four years of middle school are not measured solely by filled notebooks, exams, or certificates of achievement. They are also preserved in countless cherished memories: rushed mornings on the way to class, laughter echoing through the hallways, moments of stumbling and finding the strength to rise again, and the gentle, trusting eyes of teachers and parents accompanying students throughout their journey of growth.

In the emotional atmosphere of the year-end celebration and farewell event titled "O Mai 8 Show," Grade 8 students came together to create a beautiful symphony under the theme "The Journey of Sound." Each melody became a fragment of their school years—at times bright and carefree, at times energetic, and at times deeply moving - telling the story of students who first arrived at Olympia with uncertainty, and who now stand taller, more confident, and ready to embrace the paths ahead.


Every performance, every song, and every round of applause was not only a celebration of a remarkable chapter coming to a close, but also a meaningful milestone in their transformation. From here, they will continue to soar with knowledge, resilience, the love they have received, and memories that will remain with them for a lifetime. Perhaps the most touching moment of all was when the students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their teachers and parents. Their sincere words, emotionally charged performances, and the tearful eyes throughout the auditorium moved many hearts. Behind every step of their growth has been the quiet, steadfast, and unconditional support of those who have always believed in them.

"O Mai 8" ended much like the flavor of preserved apricot itself - slightly tangy with nostalgia, a little salty with tears, yet leaving behind a lasting sweetness of friendship, teacher-student bonds, and unforgettable school days.
