As of now, Nguyen Quoc Anh (grade 12) has received admission offers along with scholarships from three US universities. Among them, the University of Rochester (Top 50 National University), has granted a scholarship exceeding USD 172.000 for 4 years, and Drexel University Top 100 National University) has offered a scholarship of USD 84.000 for a four-year program.
With its high ranking in Business education (#27 Best Business Schools, according to US News) – the field Quoc Anh has chosen to pursue – the University of Rochester is the next destination for this Olympian. Since childhood, witnessing his father's work, Nguyen Quoc Anh found a keen interest in the fields of finance, business, and marketing. Over his 10 years of study at Olympia, the seed of that passion has continued to grow and develop through various academic activities and real-world experiences.
"The courses at Olympia integrate practical knowledge about economics, social studies, finance, and business. Particularly, the career guidance activities of the UCC office and the distinctive business experience program of the Vietnam - US Program at Olympia have provided me with a dynamic, multidimensional, and practical view of this industry. Through studying real case studies of businesses, visiting and learning about the operations of diverse enterprises, state-owned, private, or foreign-invested such as VTV, SSI, Doodle design..., I have gained a deeper understanding of the significant values of economics, business, market operations, and found more inspiration to pursue my passion," said Olympian Nguyen Quoc Anh.
As a student of the Vietnam - US Program, currently studying grade 12 at Marianapolis High School (USA), Quoc Anh has had the opportunity to delve into various Business fields such as Finance, Business & Entrepreneurship. He has also familiarized himself with the US learning environment, enhancing his independence, communication skills, and especially stepping out of his comfort zone. Quoc Anh mentioned that among the many things learned from Olympia, "perseverance" holds great significance for him in academics, sports, and life. He has also learned empathy and sharing with the community, having participated in several support projects such as caring for cancer patients at K Hospital and assisting those in difficult situations at social support centers.
"Over the 10 years at Olympia, what impresses me the most is the months and days of learning and guidance by teachers - those who have contributed significantly to changing and growing myself. For me, Olympia is like a second home that has brought valuable and memorable youthful years," shared Nguyen Quoc Anh. Congratulations to our friend who has been and is continuing to receive invitations from many US universities.
We hope that with a passion and a solid foundation accumulated during years of studying at the Purple School, Quoc Anh will soon realize his plan to successfully grow his family's business.
