Olympians class of 2026 finish their high school journey with pride in the 2026 National High school graduation exam

After 12 years of perseverance, resilience, and continuous effort, the Olympians of the Class of 2026 have achieved results they can truly be proud of in this year's National High School Graduation Examination.
With more than 1.22 million candidates nationwide, this year's exam was the largest ever held and was widely recognized for its high level of differentiation. Against this backdrop, Olympians of the Class of 2026 continued to stand out, with average scores in 9 out of 10 subjects exceeding the Hanoi average. Notably, Hanoi ranked second nationwide in overall examination performance this year.

English continued to be a standout strength of Olympians, with an average score of nearly 8.0 and one in four students taking the subject scoring 9.0 or above. Many others had already earned IELTS scores of 8.0 - 8.5.
Mathematics also recorded five Olympians scoring 9.0 or above, reflecting their strong performance in one of this year's most demanding subjects.
Literature proved to be one of the most challenging subjects this year, with a highly differentiated score distribution and significantly stricter grading at the top end. Even so, nearly 20% of Olympians taking the subject scored 8.0 or above, bringing Olympia's average Literature score to 7.09.
Physics also saw one Olympian achieve an outstanding score of 9.25, adding another highlight to Olympia's performance in this year's National High School Graduation Examination.
