“The Gentleman Of Time” – A distinctive production by the Middle School Musical Theatre Club

Inspired by “The Bourgeois Gentleman” by Molière, the Middle School Musical Theatre Club has brought to life a fresh, youthful, and school-inspired adaptation. “The Gentleman of Time” not only delivers laughter through witty and humorous situations, but also gently invites reflection on true self-worth, sincerity, and the “glossy appearances”.
More than just a performance, this was a journey for students to confidently step onto the stage, explore acting, collaborate with one another, and tell their own stories. Every spotlight that lit up was a moment of courage beyond their comfort zone; every round of applause, a recognition of their effort.
And perhaps what lingers most after the curtain falls are the continuous rounds of applause from the audience—celebrating those moments when the students truly “lived” on stage. From hesitant rehearsals to confident performances under the lights, each applause marked their growth—a simple yet proud reward. In those moments, theatre was no longer something distant, but a genuine emotion - felt, shared, and spread.
