13 December, 2024

"The sweet fruits" have come after days of meticulous and diligent preparation by Olympia teachers. At the recent Nam - Bac Tu Liem Cluster-Level Outstanding Teacher Contest, two high school teachers, Ms. Mai Thi Ngoc Yen (English Teacher) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh (Math Teacher), proudly secured the Second and Third Prizes, adding to the “golden achievements” of Olympia’s "purple school".
Winning Second Prize on her first try at the competition with her lesson “Hanoi Then and Now,” Ms. Mai Thi Ngoc Yen shared that she spent two weeks passionately brainstorming and designing her lecture. With the enthusiastic support and encouragement from her professional team, she successfully delivered an engaging lesson for students at Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School (Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi). Applying innovative teaching methods, Ms. Yen created a vibrant and effective learning environment, earning high praise from the judging panel.
Equally creative, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh turned a review session on spatial vectors for students at My Dinh High School (Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi) into an exciting treasure hunt adventure. Through the game “Exploring the Island of Knowledge,” featuring mathematical challenges leading to the treasure, students not only solidified their knowledge but also enjoyed a fun and memorable lesson.
Undoubtedly, the teaching sessions by these two “purple school” teachers were unforgettable learning experiences for the students at these two schools in Nam and Bac Tu Liem districts.
Once again, congratulations to Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh and Ms. Mai Thi Ngoc Yen! Let’s look forward to more exciting news from our teachers and students!
