A great learning experience in Singapore

Field trips to businesses are no longer a stranger to US-IB Olympians, but this opportunity to set foot in the "Lion City Nation" this time was a whole new experience.

As part of the program, students had the opportunity to meet and discuss with experts from Constructor Group and PERSOLKELLY - two leading companies in the fields of Information Technology and Human Resource Management - about current practical issues: how AI and Generative AI are transforming education, significant changes in education over the past century, future HR development trends, and how to build an impressive resume.

The goal of the businesses after the field trip program is to inspire Olympians to learn and encourage them to think more about the roles and contributions of professions to society in the future.

In addition to field trips to businesses, US-IB Olympians also had the opportunity to experience the learning environment at Guangyang Secondary School and SIM Global Education Academy. They also visited must-see places in Singapore: Changi Airport, Merlion, Marina Bay, Esplanade... Exposed to different cultures and connecting with new friends, the Olympians have had deep impressions. That is the image of friendly, enthusiastic people, especially the disciplined style in every daily work.

Ms. Pham Le Thuy - Program Operations Manager for International Programs and also the teacher in charge of the field trip to Singapore shared: "Through 5 days of studying in Singapore, students got trained in additional soft skills and social knowledge necessary in the multinational business environment..." Ms. Thuy also hoped that through this trip, the Olympians would seize the opportunity to develop further and become outstanding global citizens in the future.

The first experience of studying in a new country and meeting new people, the Olympians are sure to have unforgettable memories. Hopefully this will be the beginning of more successful "stepping out into the world" trips for Olympia students.
