Olympia teachers achieve high honors in the city's teaching competitions
16 April, 2024
Ms. Nguyen Quynh Chi, a Chemistry teacher, secured the Third Prize in the Teaching Excellence Competition with her lecture on the natural state and physical properties of halogens. With her personal effort and the positive support and encouragement from the Science department, Ms. Chi created a creative class hour with many interesting learning activities such as composing poetry, making interactive videos with visual models, having students embody teams like "toothpaste", "Javen water", "photography", "seaweed", and telling stories about themselves.
Outstandingly winning the Third Prize in Hanoi City's Electronic Lesson Design Competition, Mr. Le Tuan Cuong, a Mathematics teacher, mentioned that when registering for the cluster-level round, he only had one week to plan, film, edit videos... and complete the product. The lesson was highly appreciated by the judging panel for its breakthrough creativity and won the First Prize at the Cluster level, followed by the Third Prize at the City level. After this competition, Mr. Cuong will continue to learn and innovate to contribute more to the digital transformation of education, while bringing interesting and effective lessons to both students and teachers.
Congratulations to the two teachers of Olympia High School. The achievements of Ms. Nguyen Quynh Chi and Mr. Le Tuan Cuong have further enriched the track record of academic, artistic, sports, and volunteer achievements of the "purple school" teachers and students. Together, the teachers are striving to further enhance the quality of teaching, creating a creative, friendly learning environment to "take flight" for students' dreams.
