"Beneath his sometimes shy exterior and rough edges, Quốc Thái is a sentimental young man, a passionate artist who loves playing the guitar and photography. When he announced his decision to pursue a degree in Psychology, I wasn't surprised, because throughout his studies, Thái always showed a keen interest in understanding the human mind. He has excellent research skills, is incredibly creative, and truly suited for the field of Psychology."

These are some of the words that Ms. Nguyen Thu Thao, a high school counseling specialist, used to describe her memorable student, Le Quoc Thai (grade 12). Accompanying him for three high school years, she witnessed the "arduous journey" that Le Quoc Thai miraculously overcame with courage, perseverance, and empathy. Today, he confidently celebrates his acceptance into four prestigious U.S. universities: University of California, Davis, ranked 28th in the U.S. by USNews; Northeastern University, ranked 53rd; University of California, Riverside, ranked 76th; University of Illinois-Chicago, ranked 82nd as well as University of Padua (Italy).

Sharing his choice, Quoc Thai stated that he will study at University of California, Davis. After obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from this university, he plans to pursue a Master's and a Ph.D. at other reputable institutions. Thai aims to conduct in-depth research on human cognitive psychology, particularly on the harmful effects of AI and psychological modifications in education. With this knowledge, the Olympian hopes to contribute valuable insights into mental health care for the community, especially as more people face psychological issues due to the increasingly tumultuous modern life.

Expressing his gratitude to Olympia "for giving me so many emotions," where there is a basketball team, and teachers and staff always ready to assist and be present when needed, Le Quoc Thai said he will carry the spirit of the "purple school" with him as he confidently steps out into the world and realizes his dreams.
