Valedictorian of the Natural Sciences track - Nguyen Dinh Viet admitted to four top universities in Vietnam

Impressing friends and teachers alike with his academic excellence and sincere, kind-hearted nature, Nguyen Dinh Viet, the valedictorian of Olympia's Natural Sciences Track with 25 points in the A0 block and a total score of 50.5, has been officially admitted to four leading universities, including: Faculty of International Economics at Foreign Trade University; Management Information Systems program at the International School - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-IS); Faculty of Business Communication at Hanoi University; FPT University.

Notably, Dinh Viet is one of only eight students out of 1,500 admissions at VNU-IS to receive a full scholarship covering 100% of tuition fees for four years. Among candidates from renowned specialized high schools and public schools across various provinces, Dinh Viet is the only representative from private schools to successfully secure this prestigious scholarship awarded for "students with exceptional academic achievements and active community involvement."

For the other three universities, this Olympian, who has consistently earned the title of "Excellent Student" with a GPA of 9.0 and an IELTS score of 8.0, was also admitted (through early admission) with scores higher than the schools' cut-off points.

Having joined Olympia since third grade and without attending extra tutoring classes, Dinh Viet attributes his success to paying close attention in class, actively participating in discussions, and completing all assignments. "We are not pressured to become top students and are provided with the best conditions to develop ourselves according to our individual orientations. This, along with not attending extra classes, has given me more time to read books and self-study at home. Especially, Olympia's curriculum is very engaging and practical, and the dedicated and enthusiastic support from the teachers has been crucial in motivating me to achieve high academic results," shared the Olympian.

Passionate about technology and fascinated by how the economy operates, Dinh Viet is considering choosing between the Faculty of International Economics - one of the most popular faculties at Foreign Trade University, or the Management Information Systems program at VNU-IS. At Olympia, Dinh Viet has had the freedom to pursue these two interests through a variety of activities such as robotics competitions, computer science classes teaching programming languages and software development, and economics and law classes providing diverse and practical knowledge about macro and microeconomics. Real-world experience programs, extracurricular activities, and summer internships have also helped him gain a clearer orientation for future careers, accumulate practical experience, connect with the community, and develop many useful skills.
