Olympia continues to earn full 6-year accreditation for the entire K-12 system from ACS WASC

The Olympia Schools is proud to announce that we have once again been granted full accreditation status for our entire K–12 system by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC) for 6 years. This is also the highest level from ASC WASC.
This is a clear affirmation of the educational quality and unwavering commitment to continuous improvement that Olympia has upheld throughout its more than 20-year journey of growth and development.
To achieve this prestigious recognition, Olympia successfully completed its self-study report and an official accreditation visit conducted by independent WASC evaluators. The school was determined to have met the rigorous ACS WASC criteria in the following areas:
- Vision, mission, and core values
- Quality of teaching and student learning outcomes
- Staff capacity and internal quality assurance systems
- Facilities and operational management
In its accreditation report, Olympia was praised for:
- A caring, collaborative, and committed learning community, where students, teachers, and leaders work hand in hand for sustainable growth and student success.
- A shared understanding and consistent implementation of Olympia’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Learner Outcomes among all teachers, staff, students, and parents.

Over the next accreditation cycle, Olympia will continue to implement a comprehensive schoolwide action plan focused on enhancing learning quality and student development, in collaboration with the school community and WASC experts.
Being reaffirmed for full accreditation is strong evidence of Olympia’s sustainable educational quality, systemic development, and enduring capacity for improvement. This accreditation strengthens the credibility of our students’ academic records, increasing their competitiveness for scholarships and admissions to top universities around the world.
