Olympia Secondary School basketball team won big at the district tournament

Started in 2017, the basketball tournament for Secondary School students of Nam Tu Liem district is a playground for sports and physical development. This year, the tournament received has more than 250 athletes with 15 teams from various schools.

Participating on behalf of The Olympia Schools, students achieved great prizes at the basketball tournament for Secondary School in the school year 2022-2023 of Nam Tu Liem district:

First Prize for women's basketball team

Second Prize for men's basketball team
 

With their achievements, they will continue to represent Nam Tu Liem district to compete in the upcoming basketball tournament of the city.

Reliving the moments in the final match of the women's team, Olympian Tran Thanh Ngan (Grade 9) shared her suspensful feelings when seeing the opponent team always leading the score in the first half of the match. However, after the coach changed tactics in the second half, Olympia team shined and won the tournament!

With Olympian Nguyen Tuan Hung (Grade 9) - a member of the men's team, although he was injured and could not show his best for the match, Tuan Hung said that the training process of the whole tournament helped him learn about solidarity and teamwork. He hopes to have the opportunity to compete along with his teammates in the next tournament.

‍Looking back at the team's training process, Coach Dominique Grant is proud of his young warriors who worked hard to improve their abilities and teamwork in order to show their best performance. Their determination is the greatest motivation for the whole team. Mr. Dominique Grant hopes that they will continue to show their enthusiasm in the upcoming game.
