Company visit trip at 4 enterprises for Grade 10 Olympians

Recently, Olympians grade 10 participated in an experiential learning trip to 4 businesses in different fields in Hanoi. The annual program is organized by the University and Career Counseling Office (UCC), providing opportunities for students to have a realistic view of the professional working environment, to gain more knowledge about future careers and prepare for internships program in the summer of the upcoming 11th grade.

Based on their career interests, students chose to visit one of 4 businesses, including:

1. Kowil Vietnam – company that owns familiar local brands such as Owen, Winny
2. Novotel Hotel - one of the first 5-star brands belonging to the French Accor Hotels group.
3. VnExpress - a household name to Vietnamese readers with more than 20 years of operation in the market.
4. VCCorp - a pioneer company in the field of Internet and digital content with a large ecosystem including Kênh14, CafeF, Admicro...

At each company, Olympians have had the opportunity to visit the workplace and engage with employees from various departments to gain a better understanding of the tasks associated with each specialized area. Representatives from the companies have also provided thorough introductions to the operational mechanisms, distinctive aspects of the industry in which the company operates, and the qualities and skills necessary for the students to prepare for the future.

Through this trip, I have learned that the work environment is a crucial factor when looking for a suitable job for oneself. I also realized that I need to adapt to innovation and prioritize contributing to the community in any job I undertake," shared Pham Anh Triet (10T2).

With the addition of many new lessons, Olympians grade 10 return to school with a relaxed and empowered mindset, taking strong steps forward on the journey to conquer knowledge and shape future career directions.
