Part-time SAT Teacher

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivering SAT preparation lessons to high school students
• Improving students’ SAT performance to meet the desired outcomes
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on all classes taught
• Understanding and applying effective strategies for intervention and differentiation in the classroom
• Maintaining strong classroom management and hold students accountable for upholding school rules, student-developed norms, and classroom expectations.
• Maintaining open and consistent communication with students and their families about their academic progress.
• Communicating proactively with colleagues about student needs to ensure integrated support
• Actively contributing to a cohesive, hardworking and happy team, with a strong collegiate culture

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum requirements for candidates include:

• Bachelor's degree (a degree in Education or Linguistics is preferred)
• A recognized English language teaching qualification (e.g. DELTA, CELTA, TESOL, or TEFL). A Master's degree in Education or a PGCE is a strong advantage.
• Extensive knowledge, skills, and experience in teaching SAT preparation courses.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

• Hourly teaching rate starting from VND 500,000 (gross)
• Lunch provided at the school
• Opportunity to transition to a full-time position based on performance and school needs

WORKING LOCATION & TIME:

• The Olympia Schools: Trung Van New Urban Area, Dai Mo, Ha Noi
• Working hours: 07:45 - 16:45 , Monday to Friday.
• Part-time teaching schedule: Assigned by the department, with most classes scheduled in the afternoons
• Approximately 4-6 lessons/week, 40 minutues/lesson
