Part-time SAT Teacher (Verbal)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivering SAT preparation lessons.
Helping students to familiarise with the test structure and test-taking strategies.
Improving students’ SAT performance to meet the desired outcomes.
Understanding and applying effective strategies for intervention and differentiation in the classroom.
Maintaining strong classroom management and hold students accountable for upholding school rules, student-developed norms, and classroom expectations.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on all classes taught; delivering open and consistent communication with students and their families about their academic progress.
Communicating proactively with colleagues about student needs to ensure integrated support.
Actively contributing to a cohesive, hardworking and happy team, with a strong collegiate culture.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, English, or a related field; a degree in Education or Linguistics is preferred.
A recognised English language teaching qualification, such as DELTA, CELTA, TESOL, or TEFL. A Master’s degree in Education or a PGCE is an advantage.
Previous experience taking the SAT.
Extensive knowledge, skills, and practical experience in teaching SAT preparation courses, with a strong understanding of SAT content, structure, and preparation strategies.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

Teaching rate starting from VND 500,000 per lesson (gross), negotiable based on qualifications, experience, and suitability for the role.

WORKING LOCATION & TIME:

The Olympia Schools: Trung Van New Urban Area, Dai Mo, Ha Noi
Teaching schedule: Every Friday, 2:20 pm - 3:55 pm with 2 lessons, 45 minutes per lesson, 5 minutes break between each lesson. Students are from Grade 9 to 12, 14 students per class.
